Granite edgebootPro device firmware 1.5.4-edge-pro is released. Granite will upgrade all eligible devices to 1.5.4-edge-pro beginning 11/2/2026.

Release Notes:  

• Updated the device’s trusted certificate store to remove certificate authorities that are no longer considered trustworthy
• Improved LTE MTU handling so devices stay connected on networks with smaller or misconfigured MTU settings
• SNMP now only runs when SNMP Agent Mode is enabled, reducing CPU usage
• Adjusted the LTE LED color range to provide more accurate signal feedback
• Fixed a regression in DNS resolution
• Optimized device status reporting, reducing background load and improving stability
• Device connectivity checks now use HTTPS to meet stricter network security policies
• Bug fixes and stability improvements

We recommend updating your devices to 1.5.4-edge-pro for optimal performance and improved reliability.
