  • Improve DNS query logging to reduce memory utilization
  • Add system utility to automatically free up memory if high usage is detected
  • Improve persistent logging with automatic log rotation and multiple backups for redundancy
  • Improve LTE watcher performance via change in how historical LTE signal strength is stored and shown
  • Extend LTE health check tolerance for failed pings to reflect standard network fluctuations on LTE
  • Improve network route management: adjust network route priorities proactively versus event driven

edgeboot Release Notes: February 2025

Check out what's new in the latest edgeboot release:

feature edgebootPro [ETH0] and [ETH1] interfaces can both be configured as WAN on device firmware versions 1.0.3-edge-pro and above.

feature edgebootPro users can now see the active interface [LTE, ETH] from the My Devices table without needing to click into the device details. LTE signal strength coming soon!

feature In-app device firmware updates now available for edgebootPro! For eligible devices, a firmware upgrade banner will appear under the device detail. With the click of a button, an update will initiate after a device health check.

feature Custom filters & table headers - personalizing the edgeboot experience to best meet your needs! Customize table headers, drag to re-order, and apply filters to ensure you're seeing the data that's meaningful to you. Easily revert settings to default as needed.

featureDevice configuration action log - easily view which user(s) made ethernet configuration changes, adjusted Profile settings, and more! Navigate to the "Events" tab and view changes under Admin events.

feature edgeboot assistant is live! Great for clients handling their own warehousing, this tool enables users to allocate edgeboot devices to locations on-demand. The days of sifting through inventory to find a specific device for a specific site are over! Contact your G360 account rep to learn more.

improvement Enhanced IP address & subnet validations to aid users when configuring ethernet interface settings.

improvement Whether your primary connection is [ETH0] or [ETH1], telemetry data loads with the defaulted interface auto-selected. If both interfaces are in use, users can still toggle between [ETH0] and [ETH1] to view independently.

improvement edgeboot Profiles can no longer be set to [OFF] mode if previously set to [ON] or [AI]. If users wish to turn AC power OFF across the board, contact your G360 account rep to make this change.

improvement edgeboot resources are back! edgeboot users can reference install guides and best practices from the portal.
