edgeboot Release Notes: Q2 2025

Check out what's new in the latest edgeboot portal release:

feature Device Groups make it easier than ever to manage devices with similar configurations. Initial features include scheduling tasks at the group level and updating connected device info. The next release includes managing firmware, adjusting Ethernet interface settings, and applying Profiles. Get started today by adding devices to groups and easily manage large quantities of devices in the future!

feature Configure independent AI actions when monitoring dual WAN connections, specific to the Ethernet interface experiencing issues:

feature User-defined probe targets allow for customized Advanced Monitoring telemetry data to be captured and rendered in-app:

feature edgeboot is now certified for Granite's Multicarrier SIM. Devices with this SIM can connect to any major LTE provider network depending on best signal strength availability.

feature View, refresh, and clear ARP entries within Interface settings for devices with firmware 0.3.7-braavos or 1.0.7-edge-pro or later:

feature CSQ values are reported in addition to RSSI - simply toggle between RSSI & CSQ values under My Devices.

improvement Device events consolidation & improved formatting. Quicky understand when AI actions resolve or do not resolve connectivity.

improvement Custom sorting options for Scheduled Tasks and improved handling for offline devices.

improvement Easily identify AC port connection status via the built-in indicator:

feature Custom failover settings for edgebootPro - if there is already a failover device upstream, the auto-failover setting in the edgebootPro can be disabled to avoid failover conflicts.

feature Console session enhancements: a larger playground to work in and general font, cursor, and spacing enhancements.
